It is more important to have television coverage with people who have actual questions that other Americans might have than the mud-slinging opposition. It is not a meeting developed for the purpose of showing Americans how colorful American people's vocabulary can be.

What I haven't read on this entire page is some criticism of the actual changes they are attempting to make. Obama is right about doing nothing being the worst thing. We ought to be ashamed of ourselves for allowing health care to have sunk so far.

Smoking is a quick and relatively easy way to deal with stress, in combat and in the rear. Take it away and then you've got to deal with the stress problems, which are already a problem. Take one problem away and you have to deal with another.

I was in Iraq and it would have been terrible if I couldn't smoke.

Blind justice? There is no such thing. Our decisions are always colored by our experiences. There is no true freedom from bias. We all see through our racial/ethnic/religious colored glasses. What I resent is the implication that this woman is going to be the START of that.

I was a Marine in Iraq. There were people who lived in my hooch telling us they were bipolar and taking all kinds of pills. I don't even remember the names of all the medications. Then everyone else started chiming in about what they were taking.

Because the vaccine does not prevent an adult from getting any of those diseases. Shingles from chicken pox? My mother-in-law has it and she was fully vaccinated. The vaccines do not prevent adults from getting those illnesses. My husband and I just had measles.

Are you comparing diseases like measles to autism? One is a mild childhood illness that usually doesn't require a doctor or medicine, presenting danger only to those with severely compromised immune systems, and the other is a lifetime affliction which affects the brain.
